These reliefs on rusted metal resemble an ancient archeological discovery that was just uncovered. Redina's sculptures are unique in material and technique. She uses scrap metal sheets that were left to rust in forgotten corners, and brings them back to life, in a display of fantasy lands and expressive figures. The relief is created by hitting the metal surface with hand-held tools on both sides until the desired depth and texture is reached. Every inch of these sculptures is treated with warmth and love, and each piece is finished with its own incorporated framing that surrounds the main story and turns each particle of her work into a fable on its own. The mix of materials and color treatment adds another layer of enhancement that completes these masterpieces from a world away.
